Trouble shooting market price handlers (AMPH, APHTIB) links to Reuters. Middle tier support of ADS, shell scripts (Bash, Python, Front Arena configurations, P&L reports, Position holdings reports, trade reporting to external parties and downstream systems (including settlement systems), formatting reports for excel spreadsheets. Ensuring orders & executions are correctly booked in trading system such as Front Arena.

The ability to react calmly but quickly in emergency situations with the enthusiasm to build strong relationships with demanding front office users.

Proven ability to pick up new system and take ownership of issues, “Get the job done attitude”.

Will provide coverage during trading day to ensure trading system is available for booking orders & executions at all times.

Meeting with Fund Managers , Traders, Business Analyst to determine new requirements or issues.

Testing and implementation of new software, assisting with project co-ordination and managing the implementation and providing post-implementation support.

Working with clients to define the scope of a project;

Planning timescales and the resources needed;

Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business;

Travelling to customer sites;

Liaising with staff at all levels of a client organisation;

Defining software, hardware and network requirements;

Analysing IT requirements within companies and giving independent and objective advice on the use of IT;

Developing agreed solutions and implementing new systems;

Presenting solutions in written or oral reports;

Project managing the design and implementation of preferred solutions;

Purchasing systems where appropriate;

Designing, testing, installing and monitoring new systems;

Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers;

Organising training for users and other consultants;
